Common meaning:
Discrimination against people with disabilities.
Hidden meaning of the Equity religion:
Able-bodied people oppress people with disabilities by propagating the belief that typical bodies are superior.
Discussion:
Believers of the Equity religion think that people who are able-bodied oppress people with disabilities when they claim that typical bodies are superior.
Common sense tells us that it is the reality of the physical world that is holding back people with disabilities. It is not people who are able-bodied that are oppressing the disabled with the idea that having the ability to do things is a good thing.
Ableism, as defined by the Equity believers, is describing an alternate reality that does not exist. The vast majority of able-bodied people are happy to make some adjustments in order to make the lives of people with disabilities better. What they reject is being the ones who are guilty of magically creating the disability with their beliefs and actions.
The lie of ableism results in bitterness both for people who are able-bodied and people who are disabled.
