Discussion:

Adherents of the Equity religion believe that capitalism works like a mafia shakedown racket and that accounting is used so the rich can keep track of what they have stolen from the people. 

This is a complete lie, as capitalism has brought a higher standard of living everywhere it has been implemented. It does not make people poor, but makes them richer. 

The Equityists claim that since the relative wealth of people in the Western world has been increasing there is theft and the numbers prove it. The Equity faithful point to a utopian world as the goal to be achieved while failing to see the tremendous improvement in the standard of living of everyday people. 

Promoting the illusion of a world where we can get rid of accounting and just share everything is dangerous. Humans are wired biologically to try and gain more than other people and stirring up animosity among those who have relatively less than others is a recipe for disaster.
