Compassion

Common meaning:

Feeling sympathy for others who are suffering.

Hidden meaning of the Equity religion:

Individuals who are suffering don’t deserve sympathy if they are part of a dominant group.

Discussion:

The Equity religion teaches that all dominant groups are evil and any person who is a member of these groups doesn’t deserve compassion even if they are suffering.

Christianity teaches that it is a good idea to show compassion for other people. Various stories about Jesus in the gospels highlight His forgiveness toward others even when they didn’t deserve it.

Not only do the Equityist say that people who are members of dominant groups never deserve compassion, but they also say that all people who belong to oppressed groups must always and at all times receive compassion. They must never be held accountable for what they have done, because according to Equity beliefs, their action only occurred because of oppression by the dominant group.

Just imagine all the things that can go wrong where members of one group are always guilty and members of another group are always innocent. Welcome to the new, broken Equity world.
