Computer Games

Common meaning:

A game that is played using an electronic device.

Hidden meaning of the Equity religion:

A media that promotes Western values that must be converted to Equity beliefs.

Discussion:

The Equityists see computer games as yet another way the dominant system spreads its message and so they must be changed to promote Equity.

As a virus, the Equity religion is only interested in its own propagation. Whenever possible it wants to inject its beliefs into companies and social institutions. The business of creating computer games is not immune, and has been infected with Equity beliefs.

Many computer games construct a fantasy world where the character of the player exists, but some try to mimic the real world. An example of this type would be a war game that is trying to represent a battle in World War 2. The game company might go to great lengths in order to make the game realistic, but this does not meet with the approval of Equity believers. They don’t want the world to be represented as it is or as it was, but as they want it to be.

Equity zealots therefore pressure game companies to add genders and racial groups that were never present at the battle. This may make the game historically incorrect and sometimes even unplayable, but that doesn’t matter as long as Equity beliefs are front and center.
