Form of government in the West where the power is held by officials who are elected by the people.

Hidden meaning of the Equity religion: 

Elected representation in the West is not democratic, because the elected officials are rich and therefore part of an oppressive group.

Discussion:

Equity does not believe that Western countries have democracies. From the perspective of the Equityists, it is not possible to have a democracy in a country where oppressive groups still exist. They would definitely consider the rich to be an oppressive group so no true democracy is possible.

The Equity believers want to convert everyone to the faith and change society to a form of communalism. Only when all groups have exactly the same religious belief and the same amount of wealth can real democracy exist. 

Creating a society where we all have the same amount is going to require redistribution,, and for those who refuse, reeducation will be required. The diversity and equity workshops that are being implemented in universities and businesses in the West, gives us a clue regarding what this kind of reeducation would look like.
Clearly the Equity definition of a democracy is the classic definition of a totalitarian state.
