Having a conversation with other people about a topic in the hopes of increasing understanding and possibly finding solutions to problems.

Hidden meaning of the Equity religion: 

Only allowing conversations to take place using the critical lens of the Equity doctrine.

Discussion:

Believers in Equity only allow discussions to happen in a way that is consistent with their religious beliefs. All conversations must take place using a critical lens that assumes that oppression took place and that it is just a matter of finding it. 

This Equity belief of approved discourses allows believers to respond to people, who claim that they have done nothing wrong, with derision and slander. If the unbelievers are part of an oppressor group, then believers know, without a doubt, that they are guilty of wrongdoing. If they think they are innocent, then that just demonstrates that they don’t know the critical theories of Equity doctrine and are ignorant unbelievers. Since the members of dominant groups are ignorant, they can and should be shouted down. They should be reprimanded for not knowing the oppressive realities of life and need to go learn the religious texts of Equity to achieve enlightenment.

When we only allow the voices that we agree with to be heard, we are already halfway to becoming personally deceived.
