Active participation in and total agreement with Equity beliefs.

Discussion:

In the Equity world, engagement does not mean being involved generally, instead, it means an unquestioning and total agreement with the Equity belief system.

For example, to engage in the process of racial healing, you must accept everything you are told about the various groups in society as the gospel truth. The doctrinal truths of the Equity faith are not up for discussion, and blind obedience or engagement is the only acceptable action.

The reason that the word engagement can only be used to mean agreement with Equity is because, from the Equity believers perspective, it is the only thing that is real. You cannot engage with a systemic illusion but only with the reality of oppression and group domination.

Do we want to live in a world where we are allowed to be engaged with different activities and ways of thinking or do we want to live in a world that forces us all to engage in the world in exactly the same way?
