According to Equity belief, gender in humans is completely shaped by social cultural interactions. Societies define what the genders are and then enforce them.

Equity does not believe that any part of gender is the result of biology. This includes all of the genes that are involved in the process, and the chemicals that change the male and female anatomy. Gender is only the result of social cultural interactions and nothing else.

In the past, many would have considered those who believe in a total reliance on the social construction of gender to be losing touch with reality. The evidence that biology has a role to play is so obvious and well documented that anyone who dismissed it entirely would have been considered to be insane, but no longer. Now those who point out the truth – that there are only two genders – are mocked and considered to be hateful people.
