Hidden meaning of the Equity religion: 

The activity of making the political process only about group identity in order to subvert the liberal order.

Discussion:

Equity teaches that the best way for believers to convert the world is to make everything in the political process about group identity. Focusing everything on what group people are a part of will help them generate political force and attack the liberal order of individualism. 

Equity is dead set against civil rights. It wants to make the entire political process about group identity, and when individuals have civil rights they get in the way of this. It becomes difficult to subvert the liberal order if society itself thinks that people are valuable.

I know that the Equityists will argue that they are a continuation of the civil rights movement, but their belief system says otherwise. Books and journal articles written by leaders in the religious movement are clearly anti-individual and thus anti-Civil Rights.
