The Equityists think that individualism is a lie told by those in the dominant group to fool people in the marginalized groups into thinking that they are free when they are actually slaves.

The truth is that the best way we have found for freedom to flourish in societies is for them to operate on the principle of individualism. This liberal value is not the cause of slavery but is in fact, how slavery is eliminated.

Equity believes that we should not order our society based on what individuals need but on what groups need. Even a little thought on the idea reveals it is flawed, but the danger of thinking this way becomes even clearer when we look at the hundreds of examples throughout history that show just how disastrous it really is.
