Western Knowledge must be completely replaced with knowledge from other sources.

Discussion:

Equityists think that it is not possible to tear down the master’s house using the master’s tools. This means that Western knowledge and logic cannot be used to destroy the Western system of oppression. Western knowledge must be replaced with knowledge from other sources in order for the West to be dealt with. 

Equity believes that Western knowledge is faulty because it was created by people from oppressive groups. This requires all of it to be replaced with non-Western knowledge. 

I have heard teachers struggle with ways that they can incorporate Equity ideas into their subject area, but this will not satisfy Equity believers. Ultimately, nothing less than the complete destruction of all Western knowledge will be accepted.
