Discussion:

The Equityists view mathematics as part of oppressive Western culture, so any answers it provides are culturally dependent and work to support the dominant system.

The Equityists do not believe in universals, so the concept that mathematics is universally true is problematic. In order to try and prove that it is invalid, believers concentrate on the idea that it is an oppressive Western subject, and therefore the answers it generates are wrong.

For now, Equity believers are only calling for other ways of understanding numbers to be considered, but the day will come when they will insist the entire subject needs to be eliminated.
