Equity demands all ideas be viewed through the critical lens of intersectionality that considers Western society to be made up of layers of oppression.

When an Equityist person tells you they are open, it means they are open to new layers of oppression that can be added to the intersectionality framework. They are not open to the idea that anything exists in Western society that is not totally oppressive and damaging to minorized people.

Believers accept, by faith, that every situation requires one group of people who are the oppressors and one group of people who are the oppressed. The goal is not to discover if the dominant group has been oppressive but to discover how they have been oppressive. Guilt can be assumed and all that is now required is how members of that group are going to pay for what their group did.
