Equity believes the patriarchy is a Western system used to oppress women and that it is actually a manifestation of the hatred that all men have toward all women.

The patriarchy system where the oldest son is responsible for the family is not an invention of Western nations, but it has been used by different societies throughout the world. It was not designed to dominate and keep women down but to protect them and protect the family. 

Equity compares the lives of women in the past to an ideal perfection which does not exist. The lives of almost every man and woman in the past were brutally hard. Patriarchy is not a perfect system, but it is far better than anarchy.

It is also not true that all men hate all women. There are a very small number of men who hate women, but on the whole, most men like women very much.

Patriarchy is not the problem. Equity is!
