The Equityists believe that white Western societies are slave societies run by capitalist masters. 

When you are a slave you are told what you must do by your owner, and if you don’t do it, you are typically, physically punished. You earn no money for the work you do and you are not free to leave. Despite what the Equityists say, people in the West are not in slavery. If you don’t do what your boss asks you may be fired, but you will not be physically punished. You earn money for the work you do and you are free to leave at any time. 

The Equity believers would also say that before the transatlantic slave trade there was no slavery on a large scale.

The truth is, slavery has existed on a vast scale wherever large numbers of humans came together in tribes and nations. The idea that it is the creation of Western nations is beyond ridiculous. In fact, it is the Western nations and their foundational religion of Christianity that resulted in the removal of most of the slavery in the world.

The West did not create but instead, stopped slavery.
