The oppressed should get a greater share of the goods created in a society.

Discussion:

The Equityists believe in the socialist idea that the means of production and money should be taken from the rich and given to the poor, but they don’t think the distribution should be equal. Since the minoritized have suffered so much as a group, they must be given more now to make up for what they missed out on in the past. 

The capitalist system does result in greater inequalities between the rich and poor, but it also makes everyone better off than they were in the past. It is not perfect, but it is the best system we have ever discovered to improve the standard of living of everyone.

Socialism, as a political ideology, has been an unmitigated disaster for any country that has been foolish enough to try it, and Equity is even more dangerous.
