The Equityists think sports are oppressive because they promote the narrative of a dominant, ableist culture. 

For now, Equity believers are taking shots at sports for racism and sexism, but there will come a day they will go after it for ableism. Sports will be seen as promoting oppressive ableism by focusing on athletic capability, and this will be considered violence against the disabled.

Not only do the Equity faithful hate sports because of the issue of ableism, they also hate it because it’s based on meritocracy, and those that work hard can succeed. In addition, many sports are dominated by men, and since all men are oppressive, anything that men do and enjoy needs to be removed.

True Equity believers want all sports gone.
