Structural systems of society help determine the behavior of individuals who participate in them.

Hidden meaning of the Equity religion: 

Western Institutions are structures of power that oppress the marginalized by imposing on them required behaviors.

Discussion:

The Equity believers would agree that the structures of society determine the behavior of individuals, but they would take this further and add that all of the institutions of the West are oppressive, and if we take them away all our issues will disappear.

How exactly all of our problems get solved when Western society is destroyed is never fully explained. There is talk of us becoming new people who no longer need to suffer under the constraints of society but will all agree together on how we should think and act?  That is not much to go on. 

Changing the institutions and language of a society in order to create a new type of human is problematic. Anytime in the past when we tried to create this kind of society, it quickly became apparent that not everyone was going to agree and the prison camps and gulags had to be quickly constructed.
