Hidden meaning of the Equity religion: 

If a member of a dominant group achieves success this shows that oppression has occurred.

Discussion:

Equity teaches that if any member of a dominant group achieves success, all that means is oppression has occurred. If any member of a minoritized group achieves success, they have sold out to the system of oppression.

Since the only way Equity believers are allowed to look at the world is through the lens of oppression, it is not possible for them to consider individual achievement. In reality, most cases of success occur because somebody has worked really hard to figure out what other people want and then has gone through the difficult process of creating that thing that they want and providing it to them.

The Equityists believe that success is automatically granted to people in the West who are members of dominant groups. In reality, this does not happen and success depends on many factors, such as: connections, intelligence, social skill, effort and even plain old luck. 

The Equity believers want to change our societies so the system is rigged to favour members of minoritized groups. Bad idea!
