Hidden meaning of the Equity religion: 

We must be intolerant of the ideas that come from dominant groups because they cause damage to the minoritized.

Discussion:

The Equityists believe ideas that come from dominant groups are damaging people in minoritized groups. To prevent victims from becoming even further damaged, it is necessary to limit these vicious ideas.

Equity teaches that intolerance is a virtue; that we should be intolerant of any ideas that come from the dominant group because they only exist to damage people in the minoritized group. No other explanation for the existence of the ideas is allowed.

The idea that we should be intolerant of certain groups and the ideas that come from those groups is an interesting one because it raises an important question.  Who gets to choose which ideas should not be tolerated? The Equity believers seem to want the power to be the ones making these decisions and maybe that’s what this exercise is all about.
