The Equity believers say that men have been oppressive toward women for a long time and that the patriarchy was a manifestation of this domination and oppression. It is the male traits of men that have caused all this violence and this has led to wars and destruction. To reduce the damage men cause, it is necessary for them to become more like women.

The Equity goal really is for all parts of masculinity, no matter how small, to be removed. All maleness needs to be eliminated and wiped out because men are a problem by simply existing.

It is true that male traits of stoicism, strength and power can be taken too far but they also have very good purposes as well. Strong men have been needed to deal with the world and the danger of other humans. Aside from being impossible, trying to make men into women is a breathtakingly bad idea.
