Only the members of dominant groups have bias.

Discussion:

According to Equity, only members of the dominant group have biases. They have this even when they don’t think they do, which the Equityists label unconscious bias.

Back in the real world, every group has unconscious bias. The issue is not, do we have bias, but how do we fight against it? We need to do our best to follow the liberal value of treating everyone the same, no matter who they are. 

The Equity believers pretend they are against bias while simultaneously promoting a program of conscious bias. They will tell you flat out that we should be biased for some groups and biased against others. They are trying to get laws passed and regulations created that are completely biased toward people who are members of dominant groups.

Worry less about unconscious bias and more about the bias that gets written in ink.
