The Equityists have become so immersed in their beliefs that they consider them to be part of the fabric of reality. Everywhere they look they see evidence that they believe supports their faith. Anyone who does not accept what they consider to be completely obvious is considered willfully ignorant.

Equity believers have accepted by faith the religion of Equity. When a believer talks to a person from a dominant group who fails to admit the sin of their group, that demonstrates willful ignorance. The sinner has failed to admit their sin and convert to the true faith of Equity. 

The Equity converts believe only the dominant can be willfully ignorant, but the minoritized cannot. This is because the minoritized cannot avoid the reality of the oppression they experience every minute of every day.

The Equityists don’t believe in reason or evidence and yet call others ignorant.
