Comic Books

Common meaning:

Short magazines that present a story in the form of a comic strip.

Hidden meaning of the Equity religion:

Short magazines that present sexist propaganda of the West.

Discussion:

Western comic books often present male superheroes with bulging muscles and some super power, while females are presented sexually, also with some super power. These representations are highly offensive to Equity believers because they support typical stereotypes of gender.

It is true that comics are fantastical fiction, but they do reflect a human reality or dream. Men want to be strong and women want to be beautiful, and there is nothing wrong with that.

True Equity believers dream of one day eliminating these types of comics and having them replaced with gender fluid and physically flaccid unheros. The adventures would shift from heroes saving people by battling enemies, to unheros fighting against the oppressiveness of normalized society.

Just as we have seen with movies that have promoted Equity religious beliefs, this would be rejected by the audience and could wind up destroying comics. Not that the Equityists would care, because from their perspective, that would eliminate the possibility of any Western sexist propaganda.
