When people in dominant groups talk, they are committing violence against people in oppressed groups.

Equity teaches that speech is not just words that can be ignored, but that it is actually equivalent to physical violence. This means it is critical to stop people from dominant groups from talking because they are committing violent harm against people in oppressed groups.

The liberal idea of free speech is crumbling throughout the Western world as religious zealots of Equity attack and eliminate anyone who thinks free speech is a good idea. These people who oppose Equity are portrayed by the believers as radicals who are spreading hate. 

Language itself is now considered an act of violence against people in oppressed groups and that is why it is considered perfectly reasonable to interrupt talks given by people who are enemies of the faith and shout them down.

When we cut ourselves off from those who disagree with us, we become blind to the truth.
