The Equityists believe that science is a Western cultural construct that purports to reveal truth, but in reality is only a screen for oppression. 

It is true that science can struggle with an overemphasis on the particular, but that does not make the things that it studies untrue. Understanding the specific does give us a greater comprehension of the bigger picture and helps us understand the world around us.

The faithful of Equity believe they already know that the physical reality around us is not real. This means that the only possible purpose of science is for it to be a club of the dominant groups, used to keep the oppressed in line.

No matter what the Equity believers say, science is actually real.
